Netguru built Omega, an internal AI agent to support their sales team by automating tasks, delivering insights, and offering real-time guidance. Integrated into Slack and Google Drive, Omega helps reps onboard, prep for calls, generate summaries, and follow Netguru’s Sales Framework.

The Problem

Reps juggled fragmented tools like Slack, Drive, HubSpot, and Salesforce. This made context-switching hard and processes inconsistent. Adoption of the Sales Framework varied due to lack of embedded support. The team needed a scalable AI foundation to unify workflows and streamline execution.

The Solution

Omega lives inside Slack, monitoring opportunities and prompting reps with smart suggestions. It retrieves files from Drive, generates call agendas and feature lists, analyzes transcripts, and tracks deal momentum—all with real-time nudges.

Under the Hood

Omega runs on serverless architecture via AWS Lambda for flexibility. Slack and Drive APIs automate workflows, while vector search and embedding models pull relevant insights. CI/CD and DevOps standards ensure Omega evolves rapidly and stays stable.

Results

Manual work dropped, the Sales Framework became second nature, and the system remains modular and scalable. While Omega doesn’t yet handle effort estimation or past project referencing, deeper Salesforce and HubSpot integration is coming soon.
