Cyber Retaliation: 700% Surge

Iran-aligned hackers unleash digital warfare on Israel’s infrastructure after military strikes — and it’s only just begun.

Cybersecurity firm Radware reports a 700% spike in cyberattacks on Israel within two days of its June 12 strikes on Iran. This surge, described as “unprecedented,” stems from retaliatory operations by Iranian state actors and pro-Iranian hacker groups.

The attacks include DDoS campaigns, infiltration attempts, malware distribution, and data theft, targeting government agencies, banks, telecoms, and critical infrastructure. Threat groups have claimed disruptions to Israeli radio stations and websites, including the Mossad.

Radware also flagged activity on Telegram, with groups like #OpIsrael and Arabian Ghost coordinating attacks. Another group, Mysterious Team Bangladesh, warned Jordan and Saudi Arabia of cyber consequences if they support Israel.

Experts warn this is only the beginning, urging Israeli organizations to implement layered cybersecurity, enhance remote work protections, and monitor network traffic in real time.

Hacks are inevitable—even AI can’t prevent them. Most realize the need for security only after it’s too late. Don’t be one of them. Protect your digital life now—use the most secure phone, laptop, and VPN.
